All-Ukrainian NS Class Competition - Zabirya 2017

         August 2-6 in the village. Fishery on the basis of Fish Park the Championship of model sports vessel of section NS took place. The NS class is a copy of a true ship, assembled from industrial kits or completely self-made by drawings. Each athlete should not only follow the model's conformity to the original, but also calculate the buoyancy and running qualities of the future model. Balance and select the radio equipment correctly.

The competitions were held in open water, so that to overcome the distance purely, the participants had to take into account the direction of the wind, which carried off the course of the model and the waves, which still flooded several models. But athletes admit, this often happens and they are ready for such situations.

In total, athletes from nine regions of Ukraine gathered: Khmelnitsky, Kiev, Kirovograd, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Rivne, Donetsk and from Kyiv. There are 29 junior athletes with 59 models and 27 adults competing with 40 models. This sport united adults and children - all competed on an equal footing. In the team standings Kiev took the championship. The Khmelnytskyi region took the second place, and the third got to the Kirovograd region.

The Judicial Brigade included the President of the Federation of Ship Modeling Sport Demidenko SS, and the bench was headed by the international level judge V. Goshko.

When asked what is your ship sport and why NS class? - Athlete Arthur Sorochinsky, who took 2nd place in the F4-A, with the Corvette Cherlock model, replied: "In my opinion, the NS class harmoniously combines the beauty and completeness of copy models and engine power (a lot depends on scale and size ). The ability to test them in open water, thereby demonstrating how real prototype ships could go. In every model a person invests not only material parts and accessories, but also a soul part. "

Group F4 - models that are replicates of the original or similar, built from a set - designer or packaging with material.

Class F4-A - models of ships built from a set - constructor or packaging with material, passing only the passing test. 12 participants took the overall start. The victory was celebrated by the junior - Odessa Mikhail Rosliy with a model of a torpedo boat. He started the race unsuccessfully, completing his first attempt to go to the penultimate place, but in two subsequent attempts showed a better result. Second place went to Arthur Sorochinsky of Khmelnytskyi team, ahead of bronze medalist of Odessa Ivan Hristodorov by only 0.5 points. But Ivan as a junior took second place. After him, Sergei Fritch from Kirovohrad region also finished with the same score - the judges were determined by the result of passing the dock.

In the F4-A Yu class, 13 juniors competed in the first place, where Ruslan Kashchuk from the KYIV Kirovohrad won the championship, breaking away from Andrei Derkach from Odessa. The third place was taken by Vladislav Ryzhik, a resident of Kyiv, from the CSTD of Svyatoshinsky district.

Class F4-B - models of ships built from a set - designer or packaging with material, which must pass both bench and running. Three of the participants in this class of the championship participants distributed the prize places as follows: Vladislav Podol - gold, Sergey Fritch - silver, Arthur Sorochinsky - bronze.

Class F4-C - plastic models that must fully pass the bench and running test. (Plastic models are made of thermoplastic materials by injection molding). Nine athletes competed in the class. Sergei Medvedev from Ivano-Frankivsk won in the fierce battle for the first place, Mikhail Gayevsky took second place, Igor Lyulchenko took third.

In junior competitions these two classes were combined into one. 8 athletes took part in this start of the F4-B / C classes, where the championship was won by Sergey Fritch, the second place went to Ivan Hristodorov and by a score of 0.5 points, the bronze went to Vladislav Podol.

In classes F4-B, F4-C, for the sake of similarity of the model were allowed to use other materials, make specific changes in the equipment of the model. The housing and superstructures must be included. All changes and modifications must be confirmed by drawings, photos and other sources of information.

Group F6 / F7

Class F6 / F7 - Exactly made copies of models of ships and boats for command (class F6) and personal (class F7) performances, as well as devices if they have a causal relationship with the type of ship or boat (eg, marine crane, drilling rig , port facility, multi-bucket excavator, etc.).

F-DS Group

F-DS Class - Exactly made replicas of steamboats with screw, side wheel or stern wheel. The engine must be a fully functioning steam engine with a piston mechanism (single or multi-cylinder).

F-NSS Group Accurately designed or close to model sailboats on any scale. (The accuracy of their implementation is checked in the framework of bench judging.).

Class F NSS-A Equipped with ship rigging, Bermuda sails.

Class F NSS-B Rigged vessels fitted with hinge and luger (with no direct sails). Class F NSS-C Ships with straight sails and other rigging equipment (eg Latin sail).

Class F NSS-D Multi-hull boats and special engines.

Class E - self-propelled models of copies of a certain scale, with maximum detail on decks, superstructures, bridges, is provided with an electric motor for movement on water. This class is also subdivided into three subclasses:

- EC - self-propelled model-copy of a warship;

- EN - self-propelled model-copy of a civilian vessel;

- EL - self-propelled submarine model;

The maximum length of the EK-600, EN-600, EL-600 models is limited to 600mm (+ 3mm tolerance). For the EK-1250, EN-1250, EL-1250 models, the length of the model is up to 1250mm. Benchmarking of the models, racing for stability on the course, and maintaining scale speed (except for the E-600 models) are conducted.

 

Parallel to the shore in the pool were competitions E class, with self-propelled self-propelled. The main thing here is to run the model as straight as possible.

In the EC class, 11 warships were launched. And again in the leaders are Serhiy Fritch of the SIU Kirovohrad, Andriy Derkach of Odesa and Yevgeny Kotsupal of Kyiv region.

Also 11 athletes were in the EN class with models of public ships. Mikhail Rosliy - gold, Ruslan Kashchuk - silver, Vladislav Sheshukov - bronze.

One of the interesting classes is EL with self-propelled submarines, 6 athletes took part in it. Sergey Kravchenko received gold, Vladyslav Sheshukova received silver and Yevgen Mukha received bronze.

Among such a variety of categories is to choose and reproduce your copy of your favorite boat. And most importantly, it's the atmosphere that every athlete treats his model as a real boat. Repairs and prepares for the start. Particular attention is drawn to debutants, because this time the track seemed quite difficult. Maxim Zadorozhny immediately noted what he was up to and grabbed all the intricacies of controlling a radio-controlled model on the fly. He was not disturbed by wind and waves. It is also to be hoped that such adorable athletes will compete in international competitions and represent the Ukrainian national team with dignity! But these are plans for next year ...
